Traficant to be released Wednesday By Michael O'Brien - 08/31/09 05:09 PM ET
Former Rep. Jim Traficant (D-Ohio) is scheduled to be released from a federal prison on Wednesday, after having spent seven years stemming from a corruption conviction.
The bombastic former lawmaker will be released Wednesday, the Associated Press reported. He was convicted in 2002 of bribery and racketeering, as well of charges of improperly using his congressional staff.

I think they lost the old one he dropped off of the cleaners ! BTW Many of his speeches were very entertaining......

I have to admit, he might have been a Democrat but on the whole I found him tolerable. And he was so funny without intending to be.

Lord, I can’t wait for his release. He actually stood up to the snobs in Congress and said things without a spin. Not to mention, he’s funny as all get out!
He’s one of the few Rats I’ve liked.
