White House Not Pleased With Two Republican Senators (Obama still looking for some GOP scapegoats)
NY Times ^ | 8/31/2009 | NY Times

The White House was evidently listening when Senator Michael B. Enzi delivered the weekly Republican radio and Internet address Saturday. And the White House spokesman, Robert Gibbs, did not like what he heard on health care from the Wyoming lawmaker who is supposed to be part of bipartisan talks.

“It appears that, at least in Senator Enzi’s case, he doesn’t believe there’s a pathway to get bipartisan support,” Mr. Gibbs said Monday. “Senator Enzi’s clearly turned over his cards on bipartisanship and decided that it’s time to walk away from the table.”

Mr. Enzi’s office was in turn not thrilled with Mr. Gibbs. One aide said nothing the senator said for broadcast was all that different from what he has been saying in recent weeks even as he was one of the six Finance Committee members –- three Democrats and three Republicans — trying to reach a bipartisan deal.

“He is still committed to fighting for a common-sense, bipartisan solution,” said Craig Orfield, a spokesman for Mr. Enzi.

In his Saturday radio address, Mr. Enzi did say that current Democratic proposals would “raid Medicare” and “limit or deny care based on age or disability of patients” as well as intrude “a Washington bureaucrat in the relationship between a doctor and a patient.”

Now is the time for all REAL Republicans to stand together and tell Obammie to SHOVE IT! Keep the Commie ‘RATS all “wee wee’d up”. This is the time for the GOP to shine. All they need is a little spine. They better not drop the ball on this. Americans have handed the GOP this great opportunity.

Bipartisanship is socialist speak for advancing socialism.

Seantor Enzi understood “You lost, we won” bipartisanship.

Damnit, why can't Enzi JUST SAY NO? The people have spoken! Screw bipartisanship and the horse it rode on!

The Obama mafia thugs almost seem to be near psychotic that they can’t machine gun us down like their leftist totalitarian forefathers.

Americans have handed the GOP this great opportunity.

Unfortunately, they are going to screw this up. There's going to be a bill, the wording and crap will change but it'll still be Obamacare. Stupid Party lives!

And it’s that lack of political cover that has the ‘RATS all “wee wee’d up.” This is where we separate the men from the girlymen.

Thank goodness, a few are refusing to march in lock step. The Republicans as a group still have NOT won by heart back. I have not been impressed by the Republicans of the male sex.
