No Senate Seat for Vicki Kennedy

August 31, 2009 1:27 PM

The trial balloon launched yesterday by Kennedy friends Chris Dodd and Orrin Hatch isn't going anywhere. A solid source assures me that Vicki Kennedy won't run in a special election to fill the Massachusetts Senate seat. She's not interested in an interim appointment if it becomes available.

I think CNN should do a 24/7 news coverage special on this issue for the next week...

Hey, this is MA -- banana republic would be a step up! ;-)

NO WAY! Orin Hatch helped float this??

Oh, my, gosh! We are in deep trouble. Hatch needs to go. He is part of the problem with his, "protect the Club at all costs" mentality.

The Rat’s have to live by the Rule they passed in 2004. Funny how when it doesn’t work for them they want to make up new special rules.

Who the hell is Vicki Kennedy?

I mean, I’ve lived in MA all 40-something years of my life, and until today, I’ve never heard of Vicki Kennedy.

For the life of me, I don’t understand the royal treatment this cursed family has enjoyed for decades.

ENOUGH ALREADY!

I’ve had more than enough Kennedy’s in my lifetime. Please, no more, I beg you.

Haven’t they done enough damage to America in their wretched, lying, duplicitious, perfidious and outright treasonous lives?

Not to mention all the rapes and murders.

Is it the case that she does not want to be appointed since she does not want to run in the special election? That should be a selling point. As long as they are going to change the law to suit the ‘rats, the appointee should be made to agree to not run (or should be made ineligible).

Isn't affirmative action all about “bloodlines”?

A Senate Seat along bloodlines is just standard operating procedure.

Orin probably thought he had a shot at getting her as another sister wife. That senile old coot is such an embarrassment to Utah.

Why not put Joan Kennedy, Ted’s first wife in there? Sure, she’s had substance abuse issues but that didn’t stop Ted.
Read the following and you will see Joan is just as qualified as Vicki.

Or let Patrick resign his House seat, move to MA, and
give it to him. He’s always ready for that 2:30 am vote.

Wikipedia:
>>Her [Joan Kennedy] later years have been shaped by chronic alcoholism, which had appeared during her marriage. It escalated with sporadic, uneven sobriety, repeated drunk-driving arrests, court-ordered rehabilitation, and a return to drinking. This ultimately led to kidney damage, with the possibility of dialysis and protracted complications from increasingly strict legal guardianship. In 2005, she was hospitalized with a concussion and a broken shoulder after being found lying in a Boston street near her home.

Yes, indeed. Orin is part of the problem and not a solution. He needs to be put out to pasture.

Substitute Clinton for Kennedy and it still holds true.

Can the people in MA be trusted enough to decide?

Sadly, no. There are a few sane people in MA, but we are too few. Even in my rural central-MA town, most people are silly, pampered, well-to-do liberals who would follow a (D) right off a cliff without a moment's thought. My gun club is the one small island of sanity.

Whether we have an election, or let Devil Patrick install another Senator, really won't matter much.
