A British father got his knickers in a twist after seeing what he believes are pornographic images depicted on candy wrappers.
Simon Simpkins of West Yorkshire was at the market shopping with his wife. They decided to buy some Haribo brand Maoam (pronounced ma-o-am) candy for their children, according to London's Daily Mail.
Then he noticed the labels.
Simpkins' quotes, from the Daily Mail, are perfectly priceless and brilliantly British. "The lemon and lime are locked in what appears to be a carnal encounter," the chap said. "The lime, whom I assume to be the gentleman in this coupling, has a particularly lurid expression on his face."

That’s no more pornographic, then looking at 2 dogs mating.
To me the fruits depicted on the wrapper look like kids roughhousing, which is probably what the artist was looking to convey.
But hey, smut and perversion are in the mind of the beholder.
Yikes.
Which of course is totally appropriate on kids candy wrappers!
Sometimes a candy is just a candy.
That’s not even close to pornographic.
The Lemon’s sick and the Lime is just pushing her to the hospital.
Recent scientific studies have shown that lemons and limes have no genitals.
Well, it can be suggestive....the tongues are not necessary, but there they are. Perhaps they designed the suggestion and the denial at the same time; cute.
The wrapper clearly shows reproductive organs.

It’s always hard to say what someone had in mind. I wouldn’t purchase them. But, we will have a number of people come on this thread and say that those who see something amiss just have dirty minds. BTW I love your nickname!
German lady I work with says they’re from Germany and is known as “Happy Candy”....
My kids never rough housed with the other child between their legs like that.

I agree. People see what they want to see. But after reading the term “carnal candy” and seeing the package, an unsavory thought did cross my mind. I put it down to the power of suggestion - I don’t believe that was the original intent.
