I can vividly recall Viet Nam and how that became a pure political theater under Johnson. OUr armies were not allowed to fight or bomb with the intent to win.
Then TET comes and Cronkite broadcasts that the war is over, we’ve lost, when we actually kicked their butt.
The same thing happening now in Afghanistan. A war with rules.
I say if that’s the case, if we’re not in this to win... get out. If we stay then let’s kick @ss and win this thing.
