It’s Global Warming! Run!

That’s been going on and off for millenia. Siberia permafrost has been poping out mastadons like rabbits.

When you get past the generalities and alarmism it turns out that they really don't know what is going on, if anything out of the ordinary, and if so what to expect. They should all go camp out there on the tundra for about twenty years collecting data, and then get back to us when they have something worth talking about.

Of course by that time the tundra is lkely to be frozen solid all year around due to the Great Cooling which appears imminent.

Guess there was lots left from that past global warming period a few hundred years ago. You remember - that’s the one that was much, much warmer than now.

Oh, never mind. I forgot, trying to talk to journalists is sorta like trying to talk to the Obamaloon.

But, it’s not man-made.

The Santa Barbara Board of Supervisors are considering another resolution to oppose drilling and expansion of the Federal leases in waters outside of the dominion of the State of California. Go figger....

Then drill, cap and distribute as fuel.

Arctic temperatures well below norms this summer, except for a recent three day stretch.

I may be wrong here but I thought methane easily and quickly dispersed in the atmosphere.

Not to worry. I’m sure BO and a “Methane Czar” can fix this with a few trillion tax dollars.

"If we lost just 1 percent of the carbon in permafrost today, we'd be close to a year's contributions from industrial sources," he said. "I don't think policymakers have woken up to this. It's not in their risk assessments."

An interesting statement, because he seems to be admitting that the 'contribution' by humans to the greenhouses gases in the atmostphere is miniscule, compared to natural sources. And just what the heck are the 'policymakers' supposed to do about those natural sources?

Drill to relieve the pressure causing the leaks. Then pipe it south to heat my house in the winter. If it’s going to escape anyway, why waste it?

Humanity dies from freezing to death. A liberal dem says to God, why didn’t you save us? God says I didn’t think you believed in me. The guy says he does now. God says I put a bunch of oil and gas under the land and you didn’t drill. And I put it under the seas and you didn’t drill. I made it leak out into the ocean so you could sea the bubbles and still you didn’t get the message. And so, you froze to death.

(A variation of the story of the guy who drowned in a flood.)

MacKensie river delta may be a great place to drill for natural gas. That way we can use it to fuel our power plants.
