I remember years ago when the late “Judge” Smith was the long time Congressman from the Fauquier County area of Virginia and the Washington Post tried this kind of hit job on him. A reporter came up to him and epeated the same kinds of “accusations,” saying that someone said he was against all such things as Bob McDonnell mentioned in his thesis. The reporter asked then: “What do you say?” Judge Smith replied:
“That’s about right.” He went on to win again.
Pathetic Jackass desperation move. Even if they videotaped McDonnell shouting “macaca” in a megaphone, they’d still lose this race.

DailyKos diary calling this McDonell’s “macaca moment”. Yeah right. A guy who blasts feminists and gay adoption? Sounds popular in the parts of VA I visit.
Should drive them loonier than they already are to see McDonell blithely go on to victory in spite of this hit piece. The worm is turning, folks.
Yup, that these surely did more damage than Teddy’s Olds.
Fact is, however, that most of us are much younger than Warren and we still care, and so does the public, if we expose ourselves in public. Not sure they'ed even bother arresting Warren for that, but there he goes again ~ a proverbial pants down around his ankles situation imagining he's doing the Lord's work.

From the Boston Herald: “The paper was disclosed Sunday by The Washington Post as Democrats look to erase McDonnell’s lead in polls by portraying him as an extremist. Election day is about two months away.”
Calling a spade a spade. Has anyone posted the WaPo article? We knew this was coming. The WaPo pushed ‘macaca’ and endorsed Deeds at the last minute for the Dem gubernatorial primary. No way is McDonnell going to win if the WaPo has anything to say about it.
Their problem is that his argument is valid and will probably hold water with a majority of the VA voters. He better not recant or apologize, or give them one ounce of encouragement.
