A Belarusian fighter jet has crashed during an air show in central Poland, killing both pilots on board the two-seater plane, officials said.
The Su-27 jet went down while performing manoeuvres on Sunday at a festival in Radom, 105km south of Warsaw.

Air Force pilot Igor Tkachenko, who was killed in a midair collision over the weekend, had expressed concern about the safety of the fighter jets he flew in a 2005 interview.
Tkachenko, 45, the leader of the elite Russian Knights flying group, died Sunday when a Su-27 hit his Su-27 during rehearsals over the Moscow region for the MAKS air show.
"The planes that the Air Force sent us … could not be used by the combat forces," Tkachenko told the defense journal Independent Military Review on June 3, 2005. "I've flown the aircraft and would not put another pilot behind the wheel. It's not safe."
He said the jets' pedals and engines did not work properly then and needed adjustment.
Crash investigators believe the crash was caused by pilot error or a mechanical malfunction.
The Defense Ministry said Monday that Tkachenko would be posthumously rewarded with a prestigious state award.
I doubt it.
Quick and painless.
Looks a lot like the Thunderbird crash a couple years ago at Mountain Home. That pilot didn’t have his altimeter properly adjusted and entered a loop at too low an altitude. The Thunderbird pilot was able to eject just before the crash.
He he was that subconsious of the piece of craps he was flying then i dob’t it was pilot error.
looks like he had little thrust to me.

Authorities are not sure what caused the crash?
What are they blithering idiots…its called Physical Aerodynamic Motion or Aerodynamic Forces.
What is not to figure-out, that they were not high enough having enough space to work in, or how about the ground reached up and hit the jet. This happens every now-and-again…and they don’t know why it happened…fr1g@n idiots.
No wonder its unsafe. They're using steering wheels to fly them.
Now that is really narrowing the field isn't it.
No SAM involvement at the airshow?
Their planes cant fly and their subs cant submerse.
Oh, I'm sure they can submerse just fine.
It's getting back up that's the difficulty.
Lessons learned: Never do a 1000 foot diameter loop at 800 feet.
Well that narrows it to obvious.
Local news tells it that these pilots were heros. They stayed with the jet as it flew over the nearby village and did not eject until they could crash it into the one spot where there were no homes. I was supposed to go today.
Nobody was injured.
Contrast that with the Ukrainian pilot in L’viv who ejected and let his plane crash into the crowd killing nearly 100 people and wounding many, many more.

Not for the easily upset.
Took about 8 seconds (I estimate) from when it hit to when the smoke shot up. That’s a while. They moved pretty far to the right from the hit region. Looks as if they were at about a 60 degree angle from the ground when they went behind the trees.
The old parabola problem.
Oh well then.....
