Yeah, but hte Iranian source has the better headline AND more info than the flaming liberals Newsday, which only has this brief mention of their disguise: “Police said two men and a woman approached residents of Virginia Avenue and said they wanted to sell insurance, referring to President Barack Obama’s health care plan”.

From Wikipedia:

"Press TV is an English language international television news channel which is funded by the Iranian government, based in Tehran and broadcast in English on a round-the-clock schedule. It has 26 international correspondents and more than 500 staff around the world."

No thanks.

Thanks for the link to something besides an Iranian government-controlled website.

Two suspects were found in a car in the area of the home, and they tried to flee on foot but were captured, police said.

"In a car," but "on foot," "in the area of the home."
Does anyone at Newsday speak English anymore?

The story has been vouched for as “correct”. I think the stink should be reserved for an incorrect story. Do you spent equal time posting against correct BBC news items?

Perhaps using a correct story from iran encourages further correct news stories.

Also, posting such a story from Iran can be seen as a slap in the face to the US news outlets that forbid us from posting excepts from the websites. Do us a favor and email them this thread.....

"Maybe they were wearing Obama halloween masks"

You just brought up a good point, off topic or not.
Will the Obama mask be the most popular this year?

It's much more likely that the intent was "a slap in the face to the US." Period. I don't subscribe to the leftist philosophy that "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" -- most particularly in the case of Iran state-run media. Iran is a serious and committed enemy of all Americans, whether some of those Americans choose to realize it or not.

Otherwise, please spare me the long nonsense lists illustrating whatever obscure point you might be trying to make -- they're nothing more than digital clutter.
