WEST TISBURY, Mass. — President Barack Obama spent his last day on a Martha's Vineyard vacation buying ice cream treats at a general store and a cookie at a nearby deli.
Obama and his daughters took a quick Sunday morning trip to Alley's General Store. Wearing a White Sox cap and jeans, the president made an unscheduled stop at the small village just up the street from his rented Chilmark farm. The jaunt was one of the few times reporters have seen the president in public with his daughters.

White House officials said the Obamas are going to give vacationing a second try next week, with a five-day Labor Day weekend stay at the presidential retreat at Camp David.
“The agenda is to try to get a little rest and relaxation,” White House spokesman Bill Burton said. “He’s looking to get a break from his vacation.”
I see he still hasn’t found a church to worhip God in yet. Buying “a” cookie must really help the economy there. Cheap jerk.

“You want ice cream?” he asked Sasha, holding up a pre-packaged frozen treat from the cooler.
You can get one treat each,” he told them as they looked around.
Sweet treats in hand, the family approached the counter. The president greeted the clerk, who introduced herself as Maya.
“Hey, Maya, that’s my sister’s name. That’s her mom’s name right there,” he said, gesturing to his niece, Suhalia Ng.
The president paid in cash for his selections — a package of Nerds, a push pop and freeze-dried ice cream — before leaving the store and heading across the parking lot to Garcia’s Deli and Bakery.
At the deli, the excited shopkeeper thanked him for coming. “We wanted to stop by before we left,” Obama told him.
The shopkeeper suggested a few desserts — pie and cookies. Obama decided on a chocolate chip cookie and brought it up to the counter, where he again paid in cash before taking a picture with store employees and heading back to the farm for the afternoon.
A lot of lefty articles are trying to point out this is his first vacation.
Yeah, right. He and his family have been on permanent vacation since they entered the WH.

you can imagine the meltdown the MSM would have had if Bush returned from vacation, just to go on vacation again. They gave him such a hard time about vacations always.
Some of the more extreme liberal radical types even say Bush being on vacation contributed to 9/11. Bush spent most of August 2001 on vacation at his ranch. According to the radical liberal line, his being on vacation prevented him from being able to connect the dots to prevent 9/11.
How well will any president, or anyone be able to connect the dots after we get done with the inquisition against the CIA that Eric Holder is planning? Just wondering..........
