Court sets Pakistani scientist at liberty

Nasir Khan

LAHORE // Lahore’s High Court yesterday ordered that all restrictions be lifted on Dr AQ Khan, Pakistan’s infamous rogue nuclear scientist, believed by many to be the founder of a clandestine weapons proliferation network.

Acting on a petition filed by the scientist, the court said that as of August 28, Dr Khan was a “free man” and would no longer have to alert police to his whereabouts. The decision is likely to raise concern in the United States, where Dr Khan is still considered a proliferation risk.

“Of course I was delighted when my lawyer called me up to give me this good news,” Dr Khan said a few hours after the decision was announced. “I have been waiting for the day when I can move around easily and not be questioned and restricted at every step.”

However, Dr Khan said he remained sceptical. In February, the court declared him a “free citizen and permitted to move around freely”, yet he said he still encountered restrictions.

Un-believable. There is no equivalent to this one folks.

If there is ever a terrorist strike anywhere in the world that involves a nuclear weapon, all of the blood will be on A.Q. Khan’s hands. He has the potential to be the biggest mass murderer in history some day which is why he doesn’t deserve to be alive, much less free.

Events like this are what embolden our worst enemies, and along with the three ring circus being run out of the Whitehouse for the last 8 months simply stimulates the salivary glands of the dogs who will find a way to do us as much harm as possible.

It seems that since Bush left office, insanity is ruling throughout the world.

Bush might have had his faults, but at least the rest of the world was kept "somewhat" in check.

Now with the Kenyan in office, there is nothing left to hold others in check. In fact I think just the opposite. It would seem all of a sudden other nations "might be" encouraged to do things against our best interests.

The shoe thrower let out early.
Lockerbie bomber released early.
Other things which don't come to mind right now.
And now this.

Add to it the CIA being investigated. Its just a matter of time until something very bad happens.

Which I think is exactly what the Muslim in Chief wants.

IS IT because the White Hut seems to be a 3 ring circus that this is happening. Or might the White Hut actually be encouraging events like this from behind the scenes?

I haven’t seen anything that shows the White House is behind this in any way, at least not yet, and I would rather not speculate on that right now.
