Letter: Campaign allure dims post haste (Obot having buyer's remorse, now agrees with Sarah)
The Rome News-Tribune ^ | August 25, 2009 | Neal Couch

Posted on 08/29/2009 6:39:25 PM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet

I voted for Obama because he promised change. I wanted to see George Bush and Dick Cheney sent to prison for the crimes they committed, but Obama gave them a free pass. I wanted to see the bailout of London and Wall Street thieves reversed, but Obama continued the same policy. I wanted to see America restored as the industrial power it once was, but Obama did nothing. I wanted Obama to say that as an industrial power, we could afford good health care for all, not health insurance, and the Congress would have the same health care as the people. President John Kennedy said, “We are going to the moon, not because it’s easy, but because it’s hard.”

Obama bailed out the parasites with trillions of dollars, then told us that we had to cut back, and we couldn’t afford health care. Sarah Palin correctly described part of his plan as a death panel to decide who lives and who dies. Obama lit the fuse that caused an explosion of rage seen at the town hall meetings. The jury is back on the Obama presidency, and he is guilty of betraying the American people.

If he loses the moonbats, he's finished. No wonder he's persecuting the CIA agents.

WOW Sarah Palin makes an Obot see the light. Now if only this can be done to every single Obot we would be in good shape

This guy Couch should have listened when we tried to tell him and everyone else what this guy was all about. It’s too late now. People like this Couch helped elect this communist, gave him a congress who won’t hold him accountable for anything, no matter how bad. Like it or not, we have 3 and a half years more of this clown. All thanks to Couch and his ilk. Couch can go somewhere else for sympathy. No sale here.

We need a military coup. And a good housecleaning.

Look, we need all the friends we can get. The Bummer is certainly busy with a taxpayer-funded ACORN on his end.

You didn't have to be very smart to figure this out BEFORE the election.

But it's people like this that keep charlatans in business throughout the world.

Hey folks....once upon a time we were innocent and believed fake promises. We got our rude awakening, and that made us face reality and paved the way to the Conservative point of view. So here’s to Neil Couch and his rude awakening. He’s learning fast.

Fascist Dicatators do not leave after an election, because it was fixed. Hence the new bill “The Cybersecurity Act of 2009”, it is about having an emergency during election cycles and letting ACORN/Obama groups use gov’t systems, since they are doing govt projects like the census. Lift the veil, it’s ugly.

Yep exactly. When I was campaigning for Ron Paul with our meet-up group, we'd get heckled by Obama supporters. We tried to reason with them and tell them that Obama will destroy this country, that more jobs will disappear, and that even the troops will remain in the Middle East (tried to use reverse logic on them since most Zero supporters were anti-war types, don't get me wrong I supported the troops) but they didn't listen. They were bragging about how they won't be responsible for anything, blah blah blah.

You voted for him, you go to Hell with him. I absolutely have no sympathy for Obama supporters who are now having buyer's remorse because they still have that liberal mindset anyway. They're just pissed that they're not getting the spoils. Nothing but useful idiots.

I wanted to see America restored as the industrial power it once was, but Obama did nothing...Bizarre and wrong - he gave expanded power to unions all over the country, imposed government intervention on private industry (fired the CEO of GM for starters), and seeks to share the wealth and "tax the rich" which will eliminate the ability of investors to maintain and build strong business - in short Obama wants to destroy our industrial base to make the country equally impoverished as all others - anybody who thought Obama would restore our industril power doesn't think at all.....

Hmmm. Quite an assortment of opinions there. Brings to mind a passage from Middlemarch:

Dorothea felt hurt. Mr. Casaubon would think that her uncle had some special reason for delivering this opinion, whereas the remark lay in his mind as lightly as the broken wing of an insect among all the other fragments there, and a chance current had sent it alighting on her.

Wrong twice: We can't afford it, and even if we could, it is the vilest evil to provide free goods and services to those who haven't earned them, using the involuntarity slave labor of those who have.

I agree.

They had the chance to -listen- to the facts *before* they pulled the lever.

Let them cry their repentance to God.

The Rats obviously don’t care who votes for them as long as they get the vote. Why should we be any more squeamish?

Well, I will have sympathy for people like him IF he will work for Sarah Palin and good conservatives. There’s always future election cycles. It’s a year and two months to the mid term elections.

Obama will be sadly surprised to see his Democrat Congress dwindle. Hopefully we can fight some of this crapola off until then.

I’m sure he’s losing a lot more of them than we realize. 0bama’s poll numbers are dropping, Rasmussen has him down to about 45 percent or so, and it’s primarily among independent voters who voted for him who are turning against him. The last poll I saw said that 45 percent of people believe that there will be “death panels” and 5 percent aren’t sure about it. Thanks to Sarah Palin’s bold move, more people are having their eyes opened. The bolder she gets, the more people will wake up.

Are you trying to tell me this person will now suddenly vote a straight conservative ticket?

Highly doubtful.

He needs a few more years of being repeatedly mugged.
