How a Detainee Became An Asset Sept. 11 Plotter Cooperated After Waterboarding

In 2005 and 2006, the bearded, pudgy man who calls himself the mastermind of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks discussed a wide variety of subjects, including Greek philosophy and al-Qaeda dogma. In one instance, he scolded a listener for poor note-taking and his inability to recall details of an earlier lecture.

Speaking in English, Mohammed "seemed to relish the opportunity, sometimes for hours on end, to discuss the inner workings of al-Qaeda and the group's plans, ideology and operatives," said one of two sources who described the sessions, speaking on the condition of anonymity because much information about detainee confinement remains classified. "He'd even use a chalkboard at times."

"KSM, an accomplished resistor, provided only a few intelligence reports prior to the use of the waterboard, and analysis of that information revealed that much of it was outdated, inaccurate or incomplete," according to newly unclassified portions of a 2004 report by the CIA's then-inspector general released Monday by the Justice Department.

Critics say waterboarding and other harsh methods are unacceptable regardless of their results. . .

Do we really believe that Obama,Inc. or the rest of the radical Left care about the fairness; 'the humanitarian' here; much less the results from waterboarding? Do we think these people who have fostered holocausts; genocidal wars; support 'partial birth abortions; including the possibilities that a 'two year old' could be considered one. . .

Did these people really care about the suffering of those men; women and children who died in the inferno of Waco; care about Elian Gonzales? Have they cared a whit; that their instigations per Fannie and Freddie; tarp monies/stimulus. . .fraud with a capital 'F'. . .have brought America to it's knees; with a huge investment of pain and suffering by good citizens. All exercised so that so that the 'ground work' for CHANGE is readied more quickly?

Do we really even imagine these people are concerned with Justice? This is just one more issue; that is used as another spike; driven into the heart of America as they work to give rise to a 'new America'; cast in their degraded image. IMHO. As for 'pain and suffering'; we have only to wait until Obama has full control of 'Intelligence'; his own militia etc, et al. . . and establishes his own MO to get things done.

Obama's own 'stasi' - if you will; by and in his name.

That headline? That sub head? That article? In The Washington Post, by staff writers?!

Have I fallen through into a parallel universe?

Or are some in the MSM finally beginning to worry about their viability and relevance?

"Once the harsher techniques were used on [detainees], they could be viewed as having done their duty to Islam or their cause, and their religious principles would ask no more of them," said the former official, who requested anonymity because the events are still classified. "After that point, they became compliant. Obviously, there was also an interest in being able to later say, 'I was tortured into cooperating.' "

I hadn't thought of that particular point, but of course it makes perfect sense.

However, now that Bambi has publicly revealed that U.S. interrogation techniques have been thoroughly pussyfied, detainess will be too ashamed to cooperate, even if they were so inclined.
