A lifetime of public service is better described as a lifetime of feeding at the public trough.
The more I see of these superannuated “public servants” - each of whom, WITHOUT FAIL, has discarded “service” in favor of direction and control.
Pensions for elective office at any level should be ELIMINATED, and and to level the playing field for candidates of modest means, strict TERM LIMITS must be adopted.
Servicing the public like a bull services a cow!
