I finally figured out why Ted Kennedy wants to have Governor Devoid Patrickakis appoint someone to replace him - Ted is staying in Florida. Ted has been in Florida since he collapsed at an Obama inauguration dinner many months ago. Like his dear mother Rose, Teddy wants to establish Florida as his primary residence in order to avoid those massive estate taxes and dreaded Massachusetts income taxes.
This is important because Teddy has a new book coming out and he wants the income from that book to be declared tax free in Florida - not Taxachusetts. The same way we all marveled at the fact that Rose was simultaneously declared the oldest resident of Barnstable even though she was living in Florida.
Ted Kennedy doesn't really want to save Massachusetts from under-representation in Washington. He wants to save himself millions on estate taxes and income taxes. Isn't that the truth?
Think about it. Ted Kennedy should be living in Massachusetts where he has the options of the finest medical care in the world. After all, he is the sitting senior Senator from this state so the very least he could do is be here. But no, Ted is in Florida! There is only one reason sick people leave Massachusetts and go to Florida - TAXES!
I can't believe it took me this long to figure out Uncle Teddy's little trick.
ANOTHER LIBERAL TAX CHEAT!
This is almost the RULE for LIBERALS.
Do as I SAY; NOT as I do.
Get out of my state Kennedys.
How come no one in Massachusetts challenged Kennedy’s credentials to be senator from that state without being a resident thereof?
I guess it didn’t work out to well for him.
I know I’m just a dumb country boy, but if I’m an IRS agent, I point out that Edward Kennedy was a sitting Senator from Massachusetts when he died, therefore, the claim he was a Florida resident is impossible.
And showing just how dumb I am, if I’m a judge, I immediately declare the issue settled and rule for the IRS.

Get that Scum out of Florida.
Well first he died in MA. However, you don’t think Ted was stupid enough to have any assets anyway. Trust me when it comes time to pay the taxes what you will find is very little. The Kennedy compound was not owned by Ted; he distributed all of his assets to his kids long ago. The rich (especially the dems) are masters at tax avoidance. Teddy’s estate will pay very little in taxes and his widow will collect a very nice Federal pension and top of the line health care for the rest of her life thanks to stupid taxpayers who elect the elites....
If Teddy Kennedy had been a legal resident of Florida (presumably to evade Massachusetts taxes), wouldn’t that have made him ineligible to serve as a Senator from Massachusetts or doesn’t Massachusetts have a residency requirement.
Florida, the state that has one congressional representative who lives in Maryland. Of course he is a dem so no one did or said anything about it. When uncovered, he said he was living at his mothers home in Florida.
Honesty has no place in these matters.
Thanks for playing.
However, the elite play by different rules. They make them up as they go.
Ted Kennedy, end of an ERROR
This is an outrage. We need to make sure that Glenn Beck and Sean Hannity have the documentation the proves that Teddy changed his residency to Florida.
He couldn’t make it until 2010, when there is no federal estate tax, but his family can thank Bush for lower estate taxes.
But if I'm an activist judge, I show the world how smart I am and rule for the exact opposite of the plain meaning of the words in the statutes.
If you haven’t seen this Tea Party.....you gotta watch it. It’s going crazy on UTube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2zhPA6XkCYE
