Here's a scary thought: What if we ARE a minority?
Should the producing class, if a minority, have the right of Regime Change? I'm thinking we should.
It's not unlike a silly and weak dad instituting "democracy" in the household. Eventually the kids...maybe even mom too...will push too far, drive too many counter-productive decisions....and decisions that address the short term at the expense of the long pull.
Eventually dad, the breadwinner and the physically/emotionally strongest has to put his foot down and do it his way.
Yes, great crying and gnashing of teeth...but dad has the means to prevail.
