ACORN are our red coats...
A month ago I wrote a Post here called "What if They Don't Care?" Most took it reasonably, but a few were sharply critical saying "The Dems care about getting reelected, and won't do anything that the public completely opposes."
Oh really? Combine the "civilian police" with the "cyber security" Rockefeller bill and what do you have? Looks like totalitarianism, quacks like totalitarianism . . . .
So, to those who say, "The military won't stand for it," I have much the response that I did when people said the "Blue Dogs" wouldn't stand for it: it will be over before they know it. As a historian, let me remind everyone this has never, ever happened before, not in Lincoln's most "tyrannical" days, not in the worst times of FDR---NO AMERICAN MILITARY HAS EVER EVEN THOUGHT ABOUT REMOVING A COMMANDER IN CHIEF.
Is this because they are not patriotic? Absolutely not---just the opposite. The idea of an American tyrant is so foreign, so unamerican, that most will choose not to believe it's happening.
I pray the military understands its duty to protect us against all enemies foreign and domestic, but the culture within which people are trained, etc. counts for a lot. Moreover, large, large numbers of troops are overseas. Coincidence?
Everyone start wearing 3-cornered hats! The tri-corn hats should be a requirement for all the tea parties too! I’d like to see the entire 9/12 march in washington with everyone wearing the hats and marching to the sound of drums and flutes. What a site and impression that would make.

I can foresee a time in the near future when an “accident” befalls Glenn. You can see how the left is ramping up against him. He’s becoming way, way too inconvenient for them.
