John McCain told George Stephanopoulos that “health care reform might be in a very different place today” if Teddy Kennedy were well enough to participate in the negotiations.

A much worse place.

Yes, he divorced her, just like Kennedy who divorced his first wife after driving her to drink. To bad we don’t have a modern Plutarch to write the parallel lives of McCain and Kennedy.
