A doctors' group and an organization that advocates for the interest of the inner-city poor have joined forced to sue the Obama administration, charging that its abortive effort to collect criticisms made by those opposed to President Obama's plan to change the U.S. health care system infringed on their First Amendment rights.
In a complaint filed Thursday in U.S. District Court, the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons and the Coalition for Urban Renewal and Education said the White House had attempted to "unlawfully" collect information on protected political speech when it asked Obamacare supporters to report any negative comments about the proposal to a U.S. government email address, flag@whitehouse.gov.

Interesting - One of the above groups began receiving hate mail shortly after the "fishy" operation began. Seems the Obamites were using the campaign to stifle speech, letting loose their dogs on political "dissidents".

Impeachable offense, premeditated attack on a first amendment right by the president (little P). Just like Nixon's aides who got him into hot water with that bungled burglary, IMO, OZero is guilty.

The ACLU? LOL. I contacted them about the stimulus bill which directed the government to collect health information on the citizens in a central database “to save money”. I urged them to fight against this provision as violative of citizens’ right to privacy. They wrote back stating they were 100% behind Obama’s attempt to save the economy and that this really was not a citizens’ rights issue.

While I’m behind them, they aren’t going to get very far trying to sue the government.

This is what the AG should be pursuing - we should crash his system with hundreds of thousands of emails - maybe give him a clue...not that he'd act on it, just to let him know we're watching

This is what the AG should be pursuing ... AG Holder's history is that he is much more likely to use
the list for new targets for his personal trained, legally-exempted, proven-brutal
tested on Whitey at voting booths, taxpayer-paid, DNC- and union-controlled,
lynching squads.

Indeed...that smells pretty fishy.

Why is this on the opinion page of US News? if it is happening shouldn’t it be on the news pages?

At least it’s on the opinion page. The state-run media will never print it as news.

I have a small blog...a VERY small blog that I use just for fun. Its a highly opinionated blog that features stories about government excess and weird stories. Its clear that I am not a fan of the current administration, but there is nothing harmful or racist on the blog.
After I attended the John Dingell Town Hall on Health Care and posted a few videos from the meeting, I started getting visitors from House.gov.
At first I didn't think much of it, maybe it was just a sympathizer.
Then I got a visit from Senate.gov.
One week later I noticed that someone from DOJ.gov was looking at my site. That's right: Department of Justice.
So yeah..they are watching.
