Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, health adviser to President Barack Obama, is under scrutiny. As a bioethicist, he has written extensively about who should get medical care, who should decide, and whose life is worth saving. Dr. Emanuel is part of a school of thought that redefines a physicians duty, insisting that it includes working for the greater good of society instead of focusing only on a patients needs. Many physicians find that view dangerous, and most Americans are likely to agree.
The health bills being pushed through Congress put important decisions in the hands of presidential appointees like Dr. Emanuel. They will decide what insurance plans cover, how much leeway your doctor will have, and what seniors get under Medicare. Dr. Emanuel, brother of White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel, has already been appointed to two key positions: health-policy adviser at the Office of Management and Budget and a member of the Federal Council on Comparative Effectiveness Research. He clearly will play a role guiding the White House's health initiative.
Dr. Emanuel says that health reform will not be pain free, and that the usual recommendations for cutting medical spending (often urged by the president) are mere window dressing. As he wrote in the Feb. 27, 2008, issue of the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA): "Vague promises of savings from cutting waste, enhancing prevention and wellness, installing electronic medical records and improving quality of care are merely 'lipstick' cost control, more for show and public relations than for true change."
True reform, he argues, must include redefining doctors' ethical obligations.

The Emanuel Tag Team is very scary.
“(Zeke Emanuel doesn’t believe in the hippocratic oath)”
Apparently, neither did Dr. Mengele. Birds of a feather, flock together.
Then why the heck is he a doctor at all?
“The desire to be rid of the freeze will do much to concentrate the mind,” he wrote with another author in a Feb. 8, 1993, Washington Post op-ed. Now he recommends arm-twisting Chicago style. “Every favor to a constituency should be linked to support for the health-care reform agenda,” he wrote last Nov. 16 in the Health Care Watch Blog. “If the automakers want a bailout, then they and their suppliers have to agree to support and lobby for the administration’s health-reform effort.”
CHILLING PING!! It is happening already!! This is exactly what Obama and his minions have been doing with Pharma, the Insurance companies, the car companies..EVERYBODY!!
The people in charge of our government now are EVIL!! There is no other way to describe it!
PRAY!!
"Doctor" Roxana Mayer (DNC, White House Physician, Surgeon-General Nominee):
"Everything Obama says is true. I am a Doctor of Doctors.
To be honest, I delivered Obama, in Hawaii, whatever year he decides,
with Morgan Fairchild assisting a midwife, ahhh.... that's the ticket,
and we filmed it on DVD at the time as proof. "
"That's right. And as a result I have given Miss, ah, (Damn you, Totus)... I mean, "Doctor" Roxana Mayer
full dispensation to practice both medicine and surgery in all 57 states over which I am now President for Life."
One of Obama's (and the MSM's) FAKE "doctors"
in their plan to exterminate Obama-selected elderly and conservative adults.

How do you stop a moonbat like Maria
Wow. He is an evil dude. This needs some airtime. He needs to be exposed soon for what he is—and all those titles and positions he has—stripped of them. Where are
the Repubies on this? A good oppty for the upcoming elections.
He does have kind of a Schutzstaffel look to him. I think the skull and crossbones would look good on him...
These views are chilling. There are clear echoes of eugenics and (not to trot out an extremely worn-out cliche) nazism in
“Substantively, it suggests services that promote the continuation of the politythose that ensure healthy future generations, ensure development of practical reasoning skills, and ensure full and active participation by citizens in public deliberationsare to be socially guaranteed as basic. Covering services provided to individuals who are irreversibly prevented from being or becoming participating citizens are not basic, and should not be guaranteed. An obvious example is not guaranteeing health services to patients with dementia.”
Recall that such subjugation of individual rights to those of the group (or “race” in the case of nazi eugenics) led to a slippery slope in which doctors then found it also resorted to mass sterilization programs to “ensure healthy future generations”.
Jonah Goldberg, in his highly informative and entertaining book Liberal Fascism, has explored the relationship of progressives such as Margaret Sanger and eugenics. Another excellent book that explores these topics is The Nazi Doctors: Medical Killing and the Psychology of Genocide by Robert Jay Lifton.

This guy gives me the creeps! I was around when the first practical dialysis machines came out. The father of one of my friends was a doctor and reluctantly agreed to serve on the “God Committee” as they call it here.
It had nothing to do with society paying the bills. They only had x number of machines and 3 or 4 times that many patients. No way to save everybody, a patient gets full time on the machine or if you try to “share” it all around everybody dies a little more slowly and painfully. The committee had to tell people bluntly, “You will/will not live”. Twenty years later the man was still haunted by the decisions they had to make. At least he had a conscience.
And they wonder why national health carescares us silly.
Funny you should say that...it was kind of what made me choose that one...
Looks like he is channeling Joseph Mengele. More proof that Nazis are Leftists and some Leftists are Nazis.
