No way. Not at my house.
In fact, I'm thinking of temporarily installing an EXTENSION onto the flagpole from which I fly Old Glory.

Well, I guess. Having them flown at half-drunk would not be too accurate.

Finally, Obama recognizes the Constitution.

Thanks, dad

As a mark of respect for the memory of Senator Edward M. Kennedy, I hereby order, by the authority vested in me by the Constitution and laws of the United States of America, that the flag of the United States shall be flown at half-staff at the White House and upon all public buildings and grounds, at all military posts and naval stations, and on all naval vessels of the Federal Government in the District of Columbia and throughout the United States and its Territories and possessions until sunset on August 30, 2009
Is this even correct protocol? I mean the man was a US senator, to be sure. But why is that of any concern except to the fools in Massachusetts?
This man was NO American hero. He deserves no National public honor.

Just heard on WRKO:
“I was at a Burger King and saw some teenaged worker lowering the flag to half mast. Asked why they were doing that and was told, ‘some old guy died’. ‘Do you know you?’. ‘Naah, some old guy, I dunno.”
To: cowtowney
They should just immerse it in water and be done with it.
