“I dont see a current cause for it, but I expect Hillary to resign too....”
That will mark the day she starts campaigning for 2012.
I would expect a terse, if not vitriolic, speech that outlines how right she was that Obama was not ready.

I’m sure whoever Panetta’s replacement is will have assigned as a task of utmost importance the suppression of any such inconvenient facts!

I would love for Leon to resign, walk to the mic and spill everything. That is exactly what I was thinking. Somehow I think that his plan does not include skulking away with his tail between his legs. Wouldn't it be great if Hillary resigned a few weeks later and they had a joint "spill it all" press conference...including the file that the the CIA held on Obama, his mama, papa and others? That would be an awesome day.

Obama will instead create a “CIA Czar” so he can bypass the whole senate confirmation thingy.

I see it the other way, he should stay there and fight for his people, not let Obama stick in one of his buddies as the replacement.
Leon, fight the good fight; it's not the time to go wobbly as the great Lady said.

I hope he stays- he might be the last one capable of standing up against this travesty.

This is very distressing.... I’ll have to stop thinking of him as a totally worthless scumbag with no socially redeeming value. Now he’ll be a mostly worthless scumbag.....

..look for Hillary to resign at some point and begin campaigning for 2012--running to Obama's right... Considering the only person to Obama's left is Mao Tse-Tung, I'd think it would be fairly easy to run to Obama's right.

Dellums would fit the agenda. My first thought was Kerry but now that he is senior senator for Mass., that is out.
I would almost bet that it will be a University president of Chompskyesk mien.

It was pointless to take the position, he knew the Administration would destroy the CIA’s reputation. Leon boldly put up a fight early on, but has been noticeably silent recently.

Brian Ross of ABC News was just interviewed by Bill O’Reilly -
..he said that while the CIA denies the resignation rumor, that he (Ross) has an obama admin source stating that they are looking as a possible replacement for Panetta
