LA JOYA — Officers turned over two men to federal authorities Wednesday morning after a short pursuit.

The chase began at 7:04 a.m. Wednesday after a La Joya patrol officer said he saw a white Dodge Intrepid that failed to yield while exiting Whataburger, 450 Highway 83, said Joe Cantu, a La Joya police spokesman.

Officers followed the car into the Tierra Blanca subdivision, where two people inside the vehicle bailed out and ran into the woods near Palm Avenue and Fresno Street while two others stayed inside, Cantu said.

Police turned over the two men who stayed behind, Indian nationals Valvig and Kuljit Singh, to the U.S. Border Patrol.

My question is; Are they Hindu or Muslim? One makes them more than likely illegal aliens (for the politically correct that’s undocumented emigrants/workers/voters) the other makes them potential terrorist.

From the names, either Hindu or Sikh. From the fact they were at Whattaburger, my money’s on Sikh.

From the fact that they were coming in from Mexico I’d say Sikh. Hindus would be headed for Redmond and those a- contracts!

There is something fishy about this. Regular Indians drive Honda, Toyota or Nissan. The more affluent ones my drive a BMW, Lexus, Acura or Mercedes, but they mostly drive the former 3. An India in a Dodge Intrepid ???

Probably stolen by the coyote who has been identified but not caught, yet.
