There are many women, particularly young women, who want to look sexy and simply do not realize what they are doing to men. We women can never really understand the intensity and aggressiveness of the male sex drive.
We go to a large church, and I’ve heard our pastor specifically address this problem from the pulpit. He talked about how he’d have to quickly look away, while preaching because of the inappropriate dress of some women.
I think it was Chuck Swindoll who once said the Bible tells men to “flee lust” and men will have to “flee lust till they flee life.”
Grown women should know better, teenagers should be advised by their parents about the consequences of their fashion style.
How disgusting. Where are the pictures of this harlot in the offending attire ?
Women have no need to understand it, just whistle and we'll be there at your bidding...
I’m seeing this more and more in workplaces, too. So inappropriate I just shake my head. There’s a lot of it on tv shows depicting workplaces. It used to be too casual/inappropriate....now it’s too sexual/inappropriate.
Q. “On a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the most important thing in your life, where do you rate sex?
A. “15”
No WHAT church is Mike Adams a member of again?
Culpepe,r Virginia to Wilmington, North Carolina isn’t THAT far to drive on a Sunday mornming...
SO what church... etc.
I ain’t touchin’ that. No suh.
So far, no pics, and I don’t want to break the run of good luck, but there is famous picture of a woman using a pair of underwear as a halter top.
13-year olds who wear torn Daisy Dukes instead of wearing a bra
No, no, no... no... no... oh, sweet dear... no... no... no...
Not in our church. Mostly an older crowd, but all the girls and women dress very conservatively.
I was brought up to dress modestly when modesty was a virtue-(actually it still is, but a lot of folks have forgotten)
Today, one can walk into a bank!, a department store!...even some teachers at schools...
....almost anyplace that doesn't require uniforms, and see young ladies flagrantly displaying their wares :^
Mostly I feel sorry for these young ladies...
.I figure they ,either didn't have parents who cared enough to set the example of good values/decorum
..or society's penchant for 'rule flaunting' was too strong a pull for them...
.afterall, movies, TV, etc glorify & sells sex at a premium.
You’re right. While a real man controls his drive to procreate with as many women as possible, that drive is always there. The power of this drive is not something a woman can easily understand.
That being said: I love the way women look, and I have no qualms about appreciating that beauty in a non-lustful way. (It is Mrs. Chan that has all the qualms.) However, church is not the place for sexiness. Most of the young women in our parish are very devout and modest, but there are a few (not all of whom are particularly young!) who were blessed with a bit more Wow than the average gal, and who are... er... distracting no matter how they dress. I’ve fond that the best solution is to sit in front of the statue of Our Lady. The statue in our church is beautiful, and she’s the most beautiful of all women anyway.
Point: Ladies, please have mercy on us poor men and cover yourselves in church. Your beauty is distracting!
