The difference between crime and justice is that the former is brutal, sadistic and enjoyed by the actors, the latter is done with regret and displeasure, knowing that punishment of crime is a regrettable duty that civilized men must firmly perform to insure peace and tranquility.

Your response is little different that the crime in question. Execute them quickly and humanely if the jury decides to, and do it knowing that the final justice is left to the Almighty.

Hate the crime, punish the criminal, enjoy neither.

You’re right of course, it’s just the anger talking. I actually think the death penalty apparatus of the US is quite excellent in that you flush these turds and nobody hears from them again.
