yeah, this was in doubt, LOL

MA, the birthplace of liberty, has become a fiefdom of the Kennedy clan, bought, sold and paid for.

The new law should read: “When Democratic governors are in office, they shall have the right to appoint successors to Senators should a sudden vacancy occur. When Republican governors, as if!, are in office, there should be an
election.” There. That should pass the Legislature.

Good thing for MA Republican party to run against in 2010:
“She chose to take away your right to vote.”

They could avoid all this silliness in the future if they would just amend the law to indicate that in the event of a Senate vacancy:

- if a Republican is governor, the vacancy shall be filled via a special election five months hence

- if a Democrat is governor, the vacancy shall be filled by an individual of the governor’s choosing.

Democrats change the rules whenever they please and the press is silent. Wake up America. These people are not just power hungry. They are venal!

...- if a Democrat is governor, the vacancy shall be filled by an individual of the governor’s choosing whose name is Kennedy.

Just a slight correction.

Ted Kennedy during Watergate:
“”Do we operate under a system of equal justice under law? Or is there one system for the average citizen and another for the high and mighty?”

It applies to him now. He is the high and mighty. Ted gets his way. He’s a Kennedy, ruling over Massghanistan.

My date of arrival in East Tennessee is getting closer every day so I needn't worry.

They may as well word it that way because if Christy Mihos, Charlie baker or even Tim Cahill win in 2010, they’ll change it back. Remember Rule #1 on beacon Hill: “NOTHING on the level”.

Rules in MA mean absolutely nothing. Kennedys own the state and will have their way. Period.

Years ago we were involved in a case involving MA election Rules. We took it all the way to SCOTUS, won certiorari, and STILL the Kennedys had their way. Worse yet, the MA GOP adopted the same rule we’d challenged of the Dems, once the GOP saw how wonderfully it brought power to the party insiders instead of individual voters.

There is no defeating them so long as the people and political machine there are complicit, and they are!

Tommy Finneran (”Resigned - plead guilty to obstruction of justice charges”)

Sal DiMasi (”Resigned - charged with rigging of state contracts”)

Billy Bulger (Senate prez, brother of Whitey: “One robs with a gun, the other with a pen”)

Charles Flaherty (”Resigned - plead guilty to tax evasion”)

That’s OK, we both know what they’d like the law to be.

Remember Cheryl Jacques-rhymes with fakes? she got elected on a reform platform (”show me a reformer and I’ll show you someone who won’t be back”). Supposedly she was very opposed to Sen. President Bulger. But whaddaya know? She suddenly changed her ways. Did Billy offer her some plum perques or
chairmanships
