Prime Minister Costas Karamanlis is clinging to a one-seat majority and the socialist opposition, which is ahead in opinion polls, has made clear it will force a snap poll in March when parliament votes for a new president.

I guess that this shows that voters are morons all over the world, not just the USA and Britain (and many other countries). Socialists promise everything to everybody and get voted in. The economy eventually collapses. This happens every time and over and over again.

Actually, leftists/anarchists are setting many of these fires to provoke an election. This is the same tactic they used in 2007 to force an election. It’s been going on for years.

The fires set killed 70 people — all in the name of pushing Papandreaou’s rise to leadership.

Amazing — but then, so is much of what’s happening in the U.S. now...
