WASHINGTON – The Obama administration launched a criminal investigation Monday into harsh questioning of detainees during President George W. Bush's war on terrorism, revealing CIA interrogators' threats to kill one suspect's children and to force another to watch his mother sexually assaulted.

At the same time, President Barack Obama ordered changes in future interrogations, bringing in other agencies besides the CIA under the direction of the FBI and supervised by his own national security adviser.

Americans have learned first hand that Bama is fully capable of providing US with Inhumane treatment. And so far it has not been view as criminal. Something pretty far out there for our dear leader to 'warn' US about his partnership with his god to decide who lives or dies.

This is absolutely insane. One interrogator threatened to harm a victim’s family.

Who cares if terrorists are scared by our guys?

Is this really an issue after 9/11?

God help this nation with the dims in charge.

A guy on Bennett this morning said it was OK for obie to order the military to kill two pirates to save several lives, but it was not OK for the CIA to scare the hell out of a terrorist to save thousands of lives.

Someone else said it was OK for obie to order bombs dropped in Afghanistan that kill women and children, but it was not OK for the CIA to threaten to kill KSM’s children to save lives.

Obie emphasized that Holder was dredging the CIA cases up again on his own. Sure, obie had nothing at all to do with it. Sure, as president he has no control over Holder. BS to both.

He’s just trying to totally prevent the CIA from gathering any intelligence, one of the main things we need to succeed in Iraq and Afghanistan.

He is trying to dismantle the CIA.

Let’s review the march of events:

1) Late on Friday, Obama slips the notice of the extra $2T under the door and leaves town. Could have told us at the start of the month, but that might make spending a lot more on Obamacare look bad.

2) Suddenly Eric Holder decides to investigate the CIA again. “Hey! Look over there!”

3) In case that diversion doesn’t work, now they have some shiny new deficit numbers.

Did I forget anything?

You can’t trust the Left. They have no real affection for this country or its people. They just want to pursue their self-ordained roles as “leaders”.

My take on this is that the Justice Department has no grounds to indict anybody, so they’ll let a special prosecutor root around and try to come up with something.

Stay focused on the health care legislation.

Lets see now he wants to prosecute the CIA, but Holder won’t prosecute the New Black Panthers for the blatant case of voter intimidation in Philly? Ok uhhh I seee.

“Obama is such a frkin’ punk! He’s crashing in the poles, his ObamaCare is being rejected, so the little punk-ass pulls the ol “let’s investigate Bush!”
He’s a pathetic wussy!”

This bares repeating.
Plus he is the little snot in school that everyone called spoiled and didn’t question him due to the tantrums he would pull. Falling on the ground kicking his feet and pounding his fists.

Actually, this is one of the best ways to get info out of them, they are willing to die, but cannot stand to have something happen to their family or clan. Someone has made a serious study of the Muslim culture and found the weak spots. Google “Tom Kratman” and the methods described is his books are very close to this.

I am puzzled by this. The CIA is enourmously powerful. Are they so sure the CIA has nothing on Obama that would badly damage him, or that they can prevent its disclosure?

Or to take the heat off of himself after the Michael Jackson Homicide. Gonna be interesting if that traces back to big O as another diversionary tactic to slam dunk the health care.

A friend asked me yesterday what I thought about this whole situation. I told him that, from the outside looking in, it looks like the messiah is poking the bear with a short stick. He's almost certain to get bit.

However, reading into things, i'd have to say that this looks like a play to get "in the loop". The CIA probably realizes the kind of threat Bambi poses to national security and because of that is being less than forthcoming with the kinds and types of intel they disclose to "the one". So this whole thing is a WH shot across the bow of the CIA... "Put me in the cone or i'm going to make life difficult for you!"

Not what I am thinking but plausible.

I think that they are trying to dismantle the CIA, take out people who can do damage to their plans or cripple them so that they have no authority / legitimacy.

I honestly don’t know. I would think that something would have been done by now. I would also think that the CIA MUST have something that they can use.
