I am beginning to suspect the problem is much more serious than just incompetence, naivete, or extreme political partisanship. I fear what we may have here is a conscious, deliberate attempt to leave America naked before its mortal enemies. We may be faced with the appalling vista of an Enemy Within, with treason and disloyalty at the highest levels of the American Government.
