Virginia looks like it will take a turn to the right in November.
On Aug. 21, The Washington Post reported that Deeds is not gaining traction here in Northern Virginia because he's too conservative, relative to the Democrat Party mainstream. And that's not a good thing for a Democrat, since Northern Virginia represents a significant block of the Virginia electorate. In fact, on Aug. 16, The Post also reported that McDonnell and Deeds are polling evenly in even the innermost suburbs of Northern Virginia, with McDonnell leading everywhere else in Virginia. The poll results also indicated McDonnell leading Deeds among self-described political independents.
My prediction: McDonnell will beat Deeds, barring some unforeseen event occurring between now and Nov. 3.
We've already rejected increased taxes for deciated road projects SEVERAL TIMES. Just how many times does Deeds believe we have to reject the idea?
He's cooked.
“The Post also reported that McDonnell and Deeds are polling evenly in even the innermost suburbs of Northern Virginia,”
No democrat is gonna come close to winning without a good lead there.
