On August 5, Congressman Brian Baird (D-Wash.) likened recent town hall meeting protesters to Nazis:

"What we're seeing right now is close to Brown Shirt tactics. I mean that very seriously."

On Tuesday, at such a political gathering in Vancouver, a Marine Corps veteran named David William Hedrick blasted the Congressman for this disgraceful depiction.

What follows is a video from this town hall meeting in Washington state that every person in America -- especially those on the Left and their media minions who continue to shamefully besmirch average citizens for having the nerve to oppose the government takeover of healthcare!!! -- should be required to view

The Marine Corps veteran in the video says: "The Nazis were were the national socialist party. They were leftists. They took over the finance. They took over the car industry. They took over health care in their country. If Nancy Pelosi wants to find a swastika, maybe the first place she should look is the sleeve of her own arm."

What he Dems don’t get is when you are an opposition party you can say all the scumbag things you want because no-one is going to hold you accountable about it - but when you get into power you better shut the hell up and act nice because the general populace will call you on inappropriate remarks and behaviour.

If you wish to know what led the Marine to blast Baird, it was from an earlier question on “Home Visitation Programs,” government “stopping by” to “teach and inform” parents on raising their children.

As important, as mentioned elsewhere by beancounter, Baird claims to have filed a report with the U.S. Capitol Police regarding the “death threats,” yet no one has yet to see such reports or confirm they were made.
