Police in Schools Prepare for New Year

While teachers across Frederick County prepared their classrooms last week, they were not the only ones moving back into the schools.

Ten school resource officers moved into their offices at the nine county high schools and Heather Ridge School, said Sgt. Mark Landahl, who supervises the unit for the Frederick County Sheriff's Office. The officers worked on patrol during the summer months.

In our homeschool, the teachers will carry the guns... the kids will get classes guns and we won’t need any resource officers.
