Wrong, have been a hunter since I was a little kid, I respect the animals, I would have no reason to bother the bear and he would have no reason to bother me. I would have given him his space and moved away. I have no reason to shoot a bear, I have a lot of beef to eat.

You need to reread your statement, you said you would bet on the bear, I said I would leave the bear to do it's own bear thing. You see the pictures posted, those people were fishing with their backs to the bear not a one of them was shooting it.

You need to remember one thing about killing bears, there will never be as many killed with a POS hand cannon. As have been kill by some guy with a stick and a piece of flint.
