Harry Reid is the sacrificial lamb for Obama and Pelosi as long as they get Obamacare and their other destructive policies signed into law. Bank on it. They will find some other soft-spoken stooge to carry their water in the Senate.

Couldn’t happen to a nicer guy, and I don’t think Obama would shed any tears if Reid went down in flames. But it’s still over a year away and that’s a lifetime in politics.

They will find some other soft-spoken stooge to carry their water in the Senate. This must absolutely frost Hillary. Wasn't she next in line behind Dingy Harry to be majority leader? Instead, she's cooling her heels as SOS in Africa while Slick Willy and Foo Manchu Bill grab all the glory in NK. Hide the ashtrays.....

"He fights for Nevada on those issues and others every day and he'll continue that battle to get our economy back on track," Reid spokesman Jon Summers said. Why does he have to fight? He has 60 votes anytime he needs 60 votes. Reid isn't exactly the underdog in the Senate, you know.

Sounds good. It becomes hard to ram a health care bill through when your senate leadership is running scared.

Is Danny Tarkanian related to former UNLV coach Jerry Tarkanian?

Tarkanian polls better (in this case), but he hasn’t proven he can win election yet. I believe he’s ran several races in Nevada and never won anything.
I don’t know much about Lowden, but she seems a bit more politically savvy than Tarkanian.
Any Nevada FReepers here that can offer some thoughts on these two candidates?

"He (Reid) has got to get something out of the Obama administration that he can claim as his own." Mass resignations would be a great start.

Reid's ONLY chance is to call on the President to shelve Cap n Tax and Healthcare reform.
The Unions that dominate the strip have lost thousands of members...and Dingy Harry is dangling by a thread. Without a HARD BREAK from the President, he's toast.

Are both potential GOP candidates RINOs? Jeez! When will this trend ever end, if it really does ever end?! RINOs will end up officially killing off the entire GOP!

Agreed. There's not an individual on this earth....including top RATS...that Hussein wouldn't throw under the bus to get what he wants. He's proven time and time again over his (*very*) short career that he'd have his own mother turning tricks if it suited his purposes.
