He will apologize for supporting the non Commies in WW2 and not preventing the rape of Nanking and eventual alliance with the Japanese.

This mega-disgrace spends 50% of his time licking the boots of the world’s vermin, apologizing for the world’s greatest nation.

He’s going to need a bigger bus if he’s going to throw Taiwan under it.

Taiwan isn’t being thrown under the bus, not yet. Their project courtesy of the taxpayer is still ongoing.

Taiwan is also talking to the mainland.

Say whatever he needs to keep that Chinese money rolling in to finance his big money plans. I would however like to see the ChiComs give him the same treatment they gave to Turbo Tax Timmy.

Maybe he will offer to give the mainland Chinese the Taiwanese islands of Qumoy and Matsu.
Remember when Eisenhower could not visit those islands because the Chi-coms started shelling them?

Also apologies all around for whatever.

Apology in offing for US supporting Taiwan??

And an offer of giving China a free hand in her dealings with Taiwan in exchange for continued Chinese financing of US debt.

Nice timing—right after the Taiwanese Little League team defeated the Germans so badly that the game was called after 4 innings because of the “mercy rule.”

Obama’s international travel record is extensive. A snapshot as of mid July:

— Five foreign trips made

— 14 countries visited

— 25 days spent outside the United States

— 48,620 miles logged

I have read where obama on his current pace will travel to more places in his first year that most recent presidents during an 8 year term....

Its help a lot when you understand that the term “Taiwan Nationalism” is an alien concept being foisted upon a people unwilling and unable to accept its meaning.

There was a discussion on tonight’s McLaughlin Group about how so many countries now “like” the US. Under Bush, the approval rating in many of them was in the teens, now its as high as the 70 and 80% range. All because of O and his world apology tour....One of the commentators said this isn’t necessarily a good thing. In many cases, these countries now believe we are pushovers....that we don’t want to be “liked”, we want to be respected.

The kids will have a vacation in November. Obama will take Michelle, the kids, the brother, the sister-in-law, the nieces, the nephews, the mother-in-law, and on and on. The usual extended family will get to see the Great Wall of China.

Maybe even Aunt Zetuti will get to go along. She is back in her tax payer subsidized housing in Boston, complaining that the place is too small. It’s not as small as Obama’s brother who lives in a box.

I’m not really in touch with the current attitude in Taiwan. Are you saying most citizens of Taiwan would rather be reunified with mainland China?

No, to put it in brief.
What I wanted to illustrate is that 'most Taiwanese' have no real interest in the issue one way or another. They just want to make money.
It matters not to them which flag they have to salute, not that they would or do salute any flag anyway, to continue in their way towards their "iron rice bowl*."
