I would hate to be in the national spotlight when it comes to fashion — and I am submerged 24/7 in the field, as a fashion writer and representative for designers.
The Obamas? They're under the media equivalent of an electron microscope.
The president and first lady generally get high marks for their formal apparel. But when it comes to dressing down, the chief executive scores in the basement. Witness his "frumpy" dad jeans at the Major League Baseball All-Star Game last month. Michelle carries off casual with her usual flair — even if the thigh-baring shorts she sported earlier this week as the vacationing first family stepped off Air Force One in Arizona caused a stir.

They can wear anything they want. As long as I don’t have to see it! BTW zero needs to get his rear end back to d.c. and get back to the job that he is supposed to be doing, not jetting around the world on OUR dime and site seeing with his family.
As long as they wear SOMETHING.....the alternative is...well....

Wearing $600 sneakers while “volunteering” at the local homeless shelter would be cool.

President Kennedy’s daughter Caroline, who inherited her mother’s waterfront estate on Martha’s Vineyard, usually spends all of August on the island. Barack Obama is also expected to visit Senator Kennedy as he battles major health issues .
Secret service agents have scouted out several local restaurants, including Deon’s, located on Circuit Ave. in Oak Bluffs where Barack and Michelle Obama are expected to enjoy some British West Indies style curry goat . Martha’s Vineyard voted 75 per cent for Mr Obama so you definitely will not see protesters unless they fly in .
