Dan Lungren (R-CA) Health Care Town Hall

The link goes to the CSPAN video of a recent town hall here in CA held by Congressman Dan Lungren (R-CA3). It's full length - about an hour and a half.

I do not always agree with Congressman Lungren (especially the SAFE commission thing), but he has been unabashed in his support of people across America speaking their minds on this issue and this video is from the first of 3 town halls he has scheduled for the recess.

Contrast the dems across the country who are cancelling events, avoiding their constituents, and sneaking supporters in the back door to pack the house with Dan...
He shows up on time - asks the local police to ensure everyone who can fit gets into the room - and when people still want to ask questions after the scheduled time is up he goes out into the parking lot and borrows the loudspeaker from a police car to continue taking questions and giving answers. (Unfortunately the outside portion didn't make the CSPAN video.)

One side is proud of their position and willing to answer to the people - the other is hiding in the shadows hoping to find a way to keep Madam Nancy happy and still get re-elected.

As long as he is with us then I have no problem with him. If he in any way tries to compromise with Obama there will be hell to pay. This isn’t the time for the same old ‘roll the ball forward grow the bureaucracy’ politics.
