BOSTON -- Political blogs are abuzz with a rumor that former Alaska governor and vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin is moving to Rhode Island.
The rumor was first reported Saturday by the Anchorage Daily News, which said the gossip is that Palin has finally decided what she is going to do with the rest of her life. Her plan, the column said, is to settle in Rhode Island with $7 million from her book and a contract with FOX.

If it’s true she’s taking a spot on Fox there are much better places to live than RI. New Jersey for one.
This is BS, I agree. Unless Meg Stapleton says it, it ain’t true gang.
And why the heck would Sarah move to a high tax state?
I do think she and Todd will buy a place in the lower 48 and keep the Wasilla home as a summer residence. It was Todd and Sarah’s dream as high school sweethearts to build a house on Lake Lucille........they will keep that house, in my opinion, and buy something down here some where......(if I had to guess, I would say either Florida or Texas, they have no state tax in either state)
And I don’t want her on Fox. I want her to do short 3 minute commentaries on the radio like Reagan did. Do interviews on Fox, yes, but no shows........she will get over exposed, and I don’t watch Fox or TV that much anyway...........
Doubtful. If she moved East, the logical place for a family with that background might be Maine. Maine is politically liberal, but it’s still wild. And Sarah got a good reception when she spoke there. Rhode Island is kind of a tame little place.
Still, the whole thing sounds like another empty rumor.
I say she’d be safer in Texas.....but it might be too hot....
Anchorage Daily Worker is a San Fran family owned left wing paper that nobody in Ak pays any attention to. It was one of Palin's biggest detractors.
Hey, Ghost Hunters are from RI. :D
Yes, I said it was doubtful & probably an empty rumor. I’ve noticed the frequent bad press from Alaskan papers since she was picked by McCain. But if she DID come East, Maine would sure be a better bet than Rhode Island.
Meantime, she probably needs to put one foot in the lower 48 somewhere in the next year or two if she wants to play an active role in national politics.
I think ..............
that you think too much and maybe need a vacation.
GO SARAH
The way it is today, she could live wherever and be successful. Palin resonates like Reagen did, the people know that of what she speaks is the truth, her word is good; why she is so powerful. I first met her in early 90's, talked to her in person every month or so; she's the real deal; proven up with Alaskans over the last 20 years; why her ratings were way above most other Governors; no joke.
Sarah Palin will just become more influential as Obama screws everything up.
