(Ignoring, as does our own version, the ability to endow LIFE -- not merely DEATH -- that is solely God's trait). He sought to build the great tower that would allow him to look God eye to eye, and convinced his people to help. You know the rest.
May we be smart enough and humble enough not to be drawn into repeating such a sin of ambition.
The NYC 311 line often has classical music for those
on hold. There’s a Haydn concerto with the same or
similar tune, which would date from the 18th century.
Never heard it on hold though.
