I live in Vermont and have NEVER seen a colder, wetter “summer”than this one!

Its funny how 20 years of warming (1977-1998) constitute permanent manmade global warming, but 11 years of cooling means nothing.... Notice (image below) the sunspot cycles from the late 1940's through the 1990's are unusually high, historically speaking. This period served as the baseline for the computer models on "global warming". The current cooling period is associated with an unusually low incidence of sunspot activity.

People forget how cold it was in 1977, 1978 as well.
Miami hit 25 below and snow fell for the first and only time. It was bitterly cold in the Great Lakes region and Cincinnatti dropped to 25 below.

I would bet there are not a few libs living in very cold areas who while spouting the party line on global warming, wish that it would get warmer. I doubt people living in the northern tier of the U.S. crave colder temperatures. I certainly don't. I would embrace global warming if it were actually happening.

These global warming nuts need to start with a basic question: why is it warmer during the daytime than at night? Then start their research from there.

natural, short-term variations in the enormously complex climate system, they say.
Funny...I believe WE'VE been using that same argument to argue AGAINST gw. All of the sudden when the evidence starts turning against them, they start talking about how "complex" the climate system is, when it all seemed so cut and dry before (i.e. one hurricane=global warming, one baby=global warming, etc).
"Short-term variations" eh? Yup, they sure hate that term when we use it.

No REAL scientists (that are not left-wing moon-bats) say that we are warming or will warm once again... REAL scientists say man has nothing to do at all with climate change and that we are possibly entering another cooling phase... one that could slip us into another ice age... something that has happened many times in Earth's history. These gore-bots CANNOT have it BOTH WAYS!

The logic of AL Gore and his moronic friends will probably say the cold temperatures are due to global warming. Al Gore has a room temperature IQ and less integrity. We all know temperatures have always been constant. What a surprise there are variations in temperatures.

80 computer models ALL EXCLUDE WATER VAPOR and the now MIT proved heat lost into space. MIT has proved that we are losing Earth's heat into space at levels never before dreamed of. Mother Nature is one cool lady... literally.

Oh yes they can. That's why they pretty much gave up with the phrase "global warming" and switched to "climate change". The architects behind this fraud knew this was coming....

From the article: “These short term fluctuations are statistically insignificant (and) entirely due to natural internal variability,”
Yeah, that's what we skeptics have been saying to you Gorebull warming kooks!

The logic of AL Gore and his moronic friends will probably say the cold temperatures are due to global warming.Actually, they will claim that their efforts are beginning to show results and we need to continue reducing carbon emissions. They are going to try to justify themselves and create a cause and effect relationship.

‘Oh yes they can. That’s why they pretty much gave up with the phrase “global warming” and switched to “climate change”. The architects behind this fraud knew this was coming...’
It doesn’t matter. “Global warming” was a specific prediction, and all their mitigations are aimed at it, such as limiting CO2 output.
There’s no reason whatever to limit CO2, at great cost, if the planet is cooling. In fact, the extra plant growth will help by providing extra food - which we’ll need.
Which brings me to the subject of another big scam, ethanol...
The “climate change” folks are hosed if the planet isn’t warming. The climate is always (and has always been) changing. No way to own that, or claim humans have a significant influence. Global warming is their one and only shot.

Many scientists agree, however, that hotter times are ahead. The "many" need to be named - or the top one of the "many" because the population doesn't believe the "press" any more and we want to know what ax this "scientist" has to grind.
Is he selling carbon credits with Al Gore?
Getting grants from groups than only give money to scientists who "tow the liberal line"?

Miami hit 25 below . . .I am skeptical about that. Do you have a supporting link?

“Actually, they will claim that their efforts are beginning to show results and we need to continue reducing carbon emissions. They are going to try to justify themselves and create a cause and effect relationship.”
That would be a good story if, in fact, carbon dioxide content (not emissions) had been reduced. It hasn’t.
Instead, CO2 content has gone up consistently, even as temperatures have fallen.
