I will vote adamantly against the interests of my district if I actually think what I am doing is going to be helpful.Representatives are supposed to be voting in the interests of their districts at all times. That is what is truly helpful.

Please don’t call him “Rep.” because he is admittedly NOT!

This pantload Massa doesn’t seem to understand that his job description is “Representative”.
To: Abakumov
Massa is a "former Republican" who claims to have left the party because of the Iraq war. Born in South Carolina and now living in Corning NY, Massa a former Navy guy served under General (lol) Wesley Clark and he later campaigned for Wesley Clark during Clark's failed presidential bid.
Messa's district extents from the Rochester suburbs in the north to the sparsely populated Southern Tier, from Elmira on west.
Why this guy wishes to control the lives of his constituents even against their will, I'll never understand.

From Massa’s Congressional website: “As your member of Congress, my #1 priority is serving you.”

Peter Jennings will not be here to yell at America's new temper tantrum of 2010.
First Place "Some thoughts on those angry voters. Ask parents of any two-year-old and they can tell you about those temper tantrums: the stomping feet, the rolling eyes, the screaming. It's clear that the anger controls the child and not the other way around. It's the job of the parent to teach the child to control the anger and channel it in a positive way. Imagine a nation full of uncontrolled two-year-old rage. The voters had a temper tantrum last week....Parenting and governing don't have to be dirty words: the nation can't be run by an angry two-year-old."
- ABC World News Tonight anchor Peter Jennings in his daily ABC Radio commentary, November 14,1994.

For goodness sakes, talk about him following HIS own agenda and not the interests of his constituents.
He must really think he is smarter than all of his constituents. Politicians need to remember who they work for and this guy needs to be voted out and pronto.

The sad thing here is that he really believes it will help the people. It is obvious that he has never taken an economics course at any time in his life.
