OK, so they had select-fire military weapons then? Did they have the tax stamp (or a copy) on their person?
For those that don’t get it /SARC.
I hate HATE it when the wussy dork media trot out the
“assault rifle” canard.

People were not bringing any guns to townhall events until Obama started sending his union goons to beat up American citizens that didn’t agree with his policies.
Obama’s Fault!

If people had showed up with guns at Bush events, do you think the press would have spun it as evidence of Bushs unpopularity?

However, Arizona is an open-carry state, meaning it's legal to carry firearms in public as long as they are visible.
So they were legally carrying legal weapons while legally exercising their constitutional right to peaceably assemble.
BTW, the photo at CNN shows an African-American is one of the folks carrying the "assault rifle".
To: Greystoke
A semiautomatic rifle with a 20 round magazine and pistol grip is NOT an assault weapon. For all practical purposes it is nothing more than a simple waste of money.
To: Greystoke
As soon as ANYONE would start to point a gun at ANYONE, the rest of them would cause him to cease that action.

Is this the video that was on You Tube earlier, where the man in question was in among the Pro-Obama crowd?
The two groups of protestors were separated by two city blocks.

“If you dont like firearms, then dont visit Arizona.”
My thoughts exactly. If open carry is legal in Arizona, then don’t go there if it makes you uneasy. There are 49 others states to visit.

I have a feeling they wouldn't report it at all. Either way- they too would be idiots.
