Thanks for the reminder. I meant to post the link to the Procter and Gamble product page that you can print out and use to UNSHOP. (I just made up that word.)

I firmly believe that with Glen and Mark and Rush and Sean But more Glen and Mark America is waking up. I young person in there early twenties asked me a bout a book I was reading (roots of modern liberalism) and he informed me he had read Mark's book and I asked if he had read Glens yet and he said no and I offered to let him read the roots of modern liberalism and he read it in less than a week and returned it to me. So the giant is waking up and as one person rightly said about the supposed afroturf it takes a lot to get Conservatives out and speak up and what we are seeing is truly the Conservative working class people pissed off and showing up at these town halls.

Feel free to copy my letter to P&G and email it to everyone on your mailing list who might not be aware of the savings they can enjoy while waking up corporate America to the real power of the people.

I guess I’m just naturally frugal (some might say cheap), but I know you don’t get rich by writing checks or swiping a credit card.

I don’t buy any of those products anyway and usually get store brands instead.

I called P&G today and asked them if they pulled their ads from Glenn Beck’s show and they said no. Also I called State Farm because I was going to cancel my policies and they said they never intended to advertise on his show and Fox ran them in error. Sargento did say they pulled their ads because of the poison comment. Can anyone verify that P&G and State Farm did pull their ads ?

Additionally, Procter & Gamble, Progressive Insurance and SC Johnson all said their ad placements during the broadcast were made in error and that they would correct the mistake.

Technically, they don’t have to pull their ads. They bought blocks of ads on FOX but now don’t want them to go on Glenn’s show. While not pulling specific ads like Geico, these companies by ‘correcting the mistake’ of their ads showing up during the Glenn Beck show are in essence boycotting him. So I’m boycotting them. I haven’t heard of State Farm.

I’m sure when these companies feel the backlash of Americans who actually buy their products, they will all be backpedaling. TOO LATE! Unless I see a corporate apology with subsequent financial backing of Glenn’s show through advertisements, I’ll be UNSHOPPING with every trip to the store.

Did Fox acknowledge that the ads were placed in error or is this P&G’s PR department earning some of the millions budgeted for BS like this...

Thanks for the ping. It’s made me realize how little P&G products I use. Often, I go with store brands. I will be asking my grocer who makes the store brands.

Glen Beck went too far when he suggested poisoning someone with whom he disagrees

HUH? I thought it was all about Glen calling Obama a racist. What gives?

Well, the search is on to replace three brand names I regularly use. And I say search because these items actually work for me, and it took a while to settle on them. Paper products aren’t hard to substitute, but personal items are another story.
