HA!! Until an electric car can tow my 4 horse trailer I think Ill keep my gas guzzler Do you know that diesel locomotives are actually electric locomotives that have onboard diesel generators? Has been that way since the 1920s. Electric vehicles have no shortage of torque for towing.
With that said, I would still rather keep my gas guzzling 1974 Dodge Power Wagon 440. That is if I finish its restoration before gasoline is outlawed...

Yeah, and how fast will it go and for how many yards will it travel when the A/C is going full blast on a hot , steamy, dark night, with the headlights on whilst driving on the level freeway. Or on a cold night in wintertime and the temperature outside is way below zero with kids in the back seat freezing , with the heater on full blast, AND the defroster on to melt snow and ice building up on back and front windshields and the battery losing power fast and no hills in sight to coast and recharge batteries. Where will this heavy battery be placed. Will it cause vehicle to fishtail. It's going to be interesting to find out the answers to these questions.
