Let's not forget...this has nothing to do with housing, either owning or renting, and EVERYTHING to do with control. This is just one more example of using a means to an end.

That's how I see it. But in Seattle, even single-family home-owners aren't safe. There's a proposal on the table that would require a permit to cut down a tree on you rown property. And the permit isn't automatic - the city would have to APPROVE your action. Even now, if you want to cut down three or more trees, you need a permit.

It has gotten to the point in America where anything done by government - and that includes by Republicans - must be taken as an alarming threat against the Constitution.
Capitol Hill is completely out of control, but so too are a lot of municipal governments.
