U.S. President Barack Obama says news organizations are putting too much emphasis on scenes of hostile protesters at public meetings on his health care reform plan. The president received tough but polite questions from Americans Friday in the Northwestern state of Montana.
Mr. Obama said most meetings on his plan have been civil, and those that have been disrupted are in the minority. "What you have not seen on TV, and what makes me proud, are the many constructive meetings going on all over the country. Everywhere across the country you are seeing people who are coming together and having a civil, honest, often difficult conversation about how we can improve the system," he said.
He gets worse with each town hall he attends. He is killing this thing quicker than anyone.
Obama trying to calm the waters. Too Late, we’re pissed and congress is going to feel the heat.
Obama is media over-exposed. It’s like being forced to watch Oprah 24 hours a day. After a while, even his adoring fans will want to take a Midol.
He’s been answering the question for about 5 minutes now without answering it.
Ya, that occurs to me too. Is Obama not getting enough face time on TV? Heck he does town halls and he’s the center of attention. A presidential visit to all these towns across America makes him like visiting royalty. He is the focus of lots of attention.
If he had something to tell us, or good legislation to discuss, his arguments in favor of healthcare “reform” would be drowning out all the protests. It’s because the protesters are making inroads that he’s concerned. He and his Democrat flunkies don’t have good arguments in favor of their socialized medicine plans. And people are not buying it, so the Democrats are frustrated.
DEATH PANELS
So when Barry tells his “home boyz” to “get up in their (our) face”, we are supposed to be compliant and scamper away, or do we “get up in their grill”? If anything escalates to “poppin’ a cap” in someones “ass”, shouldn’t it be traced back to Barry instructing his thugs to “get up in their (our) face”? Sorry for the ‘hood vernacular, but isn’t that the choice of language needed against the Long Legged Mack Daddy and his band of red ACORNS?
“We need to get back to calling Bush a chimp. That would be OK.....”
When will the MSM discuss Obama’s use of Saul Alinsky tactics in trying to ram healthcare “reform” down our throats?
The attacking of the protesters is right out of Saul Alinsky’s playbook. Since the Democrats don’t have persuasive arguments in favor of their healthcare changes, they instead decide to attack those who oppose it.
Mr Obama, there is a thing called Free Speech..... It works both ways... I thought...
Not all.
Panties on terrorists head = torture.
Panties on Obama's head from media = adulation.
They are disruptive BECAUSE OF OBAMA. This guy is a congenital liar.
Speaking of telling everyone how to do their jobs, what about the car bailouts?
Where’s my stock dividend from GM? Aren’t all of us citizens supposed to get quarterly dividend checks?
Heck I’m surprised Obama doesn’t come out and say that they have factored in profits from the GM turnaround to help pay for healthcare.

“He just gave an order to his lackeys to knock it off with the news coverage. I think we can expect a marked decline in the coverage.”
Katie Couric didn’t touch the subject last night, instead they did a long piece on the free mobile clinics aiding ALL those Americans who can’t afford insurance.

Obama Launches Frontal Attack on Conservative Talk Radio
The man that Obama appointed to be the content czar for talk radio is Mark Loyd. Loyd wrote a book in 2006, published by the University of Illinois Press, entitled, Prologue to a Farce: Communications and Democracy in America, in which he proposes, among other things, that private radio broadcasters be required to pay a sum equal to their total operating costs in order to benefit public radio broadcasting.
Forget for a moment that no business can survive by paying some other entity a sum equal to their total operating expenses. This, of course, would drive private broadcasters out of business. But look at what he is proposing. He wants public broadcasting to be funded totally on the backs of private broadcasters, many of whom operate in the red.
Such idiotic, mutton-headed notions would be laughable were they not dead serious.
And thats not all.[snip]

The Senate Democrats have hired Abigail Vacanti, an anchor producer at CNN's American Morning, as their new press secretary, according to Senate Majority spokesman Terry Whitney. Vacanti replaces Ben Marter, who's headed to Washington, D.C. to become U.S. Rep.-elect Betsy Markey's communications director.
