Im talking about both sides. The ones from the right, product of our brilliant, subtle, commentator culture, who carry swastikas, or pictures, or wear costumes to town halls. And the ones on the left who compare those on the right to Nazis.
Im beginning to get the queasy feeling that those who paint themselves with Hitler mustaches, or paint mustaches on images of the president (yes I know about morons on the left and Bushitler), or dress up in uniforms or carry Hitler images on posters, get just a little too much of a thrill from it. It gives these sad people a device for getting the attention their tiny minds would otherwise not merit. Maybe even gives them some sick delusion of power they suck from the vast abyss of evil they decide to dip themselves into like a bath in sewage. Its so disproportionate. I know when I was discussing the cover for my book Explaining Hitler I refused to allow any recognizable image of Hitler on the cover because I didnt want to exploit the all too familiar star power of that all-too-recognizable image. I wanted to ask how this innocent looking toddler could grow up into Hitler.
These days stardom seems to be the only thing that matters. The Hitler/swastika carriers are pathetic celebrity whores. They know theyll get a shot at being on cable television by exploiting evil. Congratulations....

OK.. how about Mao-bama, or what about Chea-bama?
I agree. Just distracts from our message.
Where are the photos of actual, real conservatives wearing Hitler outfits?

Godwin’s Law does not apply when the discussion covers something that could have actually originated in Nazi Germany.
A little investigation will probably reveal that those carrying swastikas and dressed as Nazis are probably troublemakers from Acorn.
That is, they are essentially Democrats and have nothing whatsoever to do with Conservatism of the Republican party.
The union thugs were ordered to appear at the town hall meetings to disrupt them and change the focus from debating health care to taking about Nazi uniforms and Nazi signs. Nancy stretch face Pelosi started this when she claimed they were all carrying Nazi swastikas!
Ma and Pa American is NOT wearing Nazi uniforms, or carrying Nazi signs so stop making that claim when you have NO pictures to support your claim!!
If there were it will be all over the news like white on rice
Dragging Hitler, with all the baggage associated with it, into a argument means that you do not have enough logic to present your case. I take it as a last desperate verbal effort, like unto a screaming bare handed charge against a better fighter, who is armed with a knife, in hopes that he is too stunned to slice you to pieces. It doesn’t really work that well.
Photographic proof to back up these accusations please? I keep hearing these accusations, I don’t see any proof to back them up.
If the shoe fits wear it!!
Somewhat akin to the picture that shows either an old crone in near-profile or a young woman turning away depending on perception, I sometimes see a gorilla's skull in Obama's Healthcare Deform logo. Now, THAT look is far easier to dismiss as accidental.

If the shoe fits, . . .
They haven’t hesitated to use that word, including misusing it, since Chicago ‘68
