To describe the US Embassy there as "well fortified" would be an understatement. I don't think they could get close enough to do any real damage, but certainly some of the Marine guards would be in the line of fire. Let's hope for the best.

I somewhat understand our involvement in Iraq, and our initial involvement in Afghanistan. However, why are we still there (Afghanistan)? I say, let that worthless peace of sand revert to the Taliban (which will happen eventually anyway) and get the hell out of there.
