Since I’m Catholic all Catholics ought to be able to opt out of this based on religious rights guaranteed in the Constitution with no penalty for doing so.

The socialist contrived constitutional insertion of the so-called “Separation of Church and State” means Christians have no say.
As a member of the first Christian church you are to be the first to shut the heck up! Give unto God what is God's and unto the abortion industry what is Ceasar's.

I think you would get much out of a book on Natural Law I bought a couple weeks before Independence Day. It is “Written on the Heart, The Case for Natural Law” by J. Budziszewski, 1997.
As St. Thomas Aquinas explained, there is no moral imperative to obey human law that violates God's Law. Our Declaration posits that the only reason for governments to exist is to protect our Natural rights. The Founders put that philosophy into action with our Constitution.
Governments run into resistance and eventually rebellion when they continue to violate our Natural, God given rights..
