You do raise a point, I wonder how Vick's reception is going to compare with Rick Pitino's.

I wonder how many pro football players have paid for abortions but sickening as it is abortion is legal, dog fighting isn’t.

In my opinion, Mr. Vick cannot pay a sufficient price for what he did. He did not make a mistake. He enabled and participated in evil, not once, but repeatedly. Evil that inflicted pain and terror so horrid that it is nearly inconceivable. Mr. Vick might be forgiven, but all actions have consequences, and he cannot erase what he did...and did...and did to helpless creatures. He is not worthy of human or animal company, much less the adulation of a stadium full of people.
